PALESTINE RESOURCES BY WORMS

Worms World C.I.C. unequivocally supports all peoples’ right to freedom, dignity and self-determination. Alongside dozens of other cultural institutions, and in solidarity with the Palestinian people, we are committing to the Palestinian Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) and to supporting the call for Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS). In addition to that we call for an immediate ceasefire.

Hi Worms,

As we keep up with the horrific developing events and find ourselves struggling with feelings of impotence and heartbreak, we’ve been doing our best to inform ourselves of all the different ways we can show up from far away. Our solidarity is with the Palestinian people and anyone grieving during this frightening time. There must be a ceasefire immediately. All hostages taken by Hamas must be released. And Palestine must be free.

At Worms, our mission has always been to amplify marginalised voices. Therefore we want to share a compilation of resources (from books to films to toolkits to some accounts to follow) that we’ve come across these past couple of weeks, for easy access and circulation. We hope they help shine a light on the Palestinian struggle over the past decades of occupation and beyond. This is by no means a comprehensive list. Nonetheless we hope you will find this useful: as a way to engage in action, practice hope, and foster a practice of care and compassion.
